Lift up NOW thine eyes

Dear Readers,

The coming year is full of cowboys, preachers and the women who love them. We’re kicking off in May 2008 with The Bounty Hunter’s Bride, my first Love Inspired Historical. It’s an honor to be part of the launch team. If you’d like to chat about the new LIHs, there’s a fun discussion on the eHarlequin message boards.

Next in line is a Christmas novella for Harlequin Historicals. The release date is October 2008 and I’m honored to be with Carolyn Davidson and Cheryl St. John. I love these ladies! Before I sold, I’d wandered the romance section in my local library. I read both of these authors voraciously, never dreaming that I’d get to know them. The theme for the anthology (not yet titled) is “Christmas and Babies.” It promises to be full of hope and holiday cheer.

In February 2009, Reverend Joshua Blue will return in The Maverick Preacher. Josh and Adie are in The Bounty Hunter’s Bride and I wanted to give them a story of their own. Josh might be my most daring hero to date. He’s also a man of faith, someone who’s been tested by fire. I love this book. Every story is reflection of my faith, but this one has something extra.

Last in line is a Mother’s Day novella for April 2009. I’m paired with Jillian Hart. How cool is that? I love her work.

On the family front, all is well with my husband and sons. Both boys (oops, I mean men) are off at college. The youngest is in ROTC at the University of Kentucky and the oldest is a grad student at American University in Cairo. (Excuse a mother’s brag, but I am exceedingly proud of them!) My husband, as always, is working hard to keep me supplied with romance novels : )
