I love that verse from Genesis . . . Who hasn’t been in a pit of some kind? Maybe you were sitting in a hospital room, listening to the tick of a heart monitor. Maybe you were alone in the dead of night praying for a teenager to arrive home safe. Those are the kinds of events that connect us all. They also make for great stories.
That’s one of the things I love about inspirational romance. The stories are about connecting--with each other and with God. They give us hope. They renew our faith. Sometimes they make us laugh and other times we cry with characters who become like friends. Best of all, stories remind us that we’re not alone in this strange and wonderful journey called life.
